Beef Cook Off Contest

Black Mesa CattleWomen and Pioneer Days are proud to announce a competition that will happen on Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Crawford Community Church. Contestants will bring their dishes at 11:00am with the public tasting and judging from 11:30 to 12:15. The Winner will be announced at 12:30.

Prizes will be provided by

the Black Mesa CattleWomen:

     1^st  place-Large Beef Bundle,

     2^nd place-Medium Beef Bundle,

     3^rd  place-10# ground beef,

                 Peoples Choice - Basket of Black Mesa CattleWomen items

Black Mesa CattleWomen Beef Cook Off Contest Rules!

• The main ingredient of your entry must be beef.
• Please include your recipe and the source of the recipe with your Entry Form.
• Contestants will make enough for 6 people. All public attendees are invited to have a small taste of each dish and then cast their vote for their favorite.
• The beef dish should be displayed in an attractive manner. Garnishes are encouraged.
• Small tasting cups, spoons, napkins, and bottled water will be provided by Pioneer Days.

All prizes will be given out at the cook off after winners are announced at 12:30.
